Pterodroma hypoleuca

Gould's Petrel (Pterodroma hypoleuca) is a seabird species found in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a medium-sized petrel with a wingspan of about 80-90 cm. This species has a dark grey upper body and white underparts, with a distinctive M-shaped pattern on the upperwings. Gould's Petrels are known for their remarkable long-distance migrations, traveling thousands of kilometers between breeding and feeding grounds. They breed on remote islands and spend most of their lives at sea, feeding on fish, squid, and crustaceans.
