Gran Canaria Blue Chaffinch, Fringilla polatzeki, is a finch of the Canary Islands, confined to Gran Canaria in the highlands of the island. It lives mainly in mountain Canary Island pine forest, especially in mature stands with old, dense trees, and is most often found around 1,000 m. It is slightly smaller than the Tenerife blue chaffinch and can be told from it by two white wing bars and a paler belly with less blue. Females are dull grey-brown.
