Grand Cayman Thrush

Grand Cayman Thrush, Turdus ravidus, was a thrush of Grand Cayman in the Caribbean and is now extinct. It lived in the north and north-east of the island, where swamps and mangroves formed part of its range, along with areas of knife-edged coral rock and climbing cactus. It was first described by Cory in 1886. The bird was mostly ash-grey, with white below, white on the undertail coverts and on the outer tail tips, and red skin on the bill, feet and around the eye.
