The Gray-breasted Martin, scientifically known as Petrochelidon spilodera, is a medium-sized swallow species found in South America. It is characterized by its distinctive grayish-brown upperparts and pale gray underparts. These agile birds are often seen in open areas, including grasslands, savannas, and agricultural areas, where they forage for flying insects in acrobatic flight. They construct gourd-shaped mud nests, often in colonies, on cliffs, buildings, or other man-made structures.
