The Great Crested Flycatcher is a medium-sized bird found in the woodlands and forests of North and Central America. It is known for its distinctive call and vibrant plumage. The Great Crested Flycatcher constructs its nest in tree cavities, often using snake skins in the lining. It is a solitary bird during the breeding season but may join mixed-species flocks during migration. This species is known for its aggressive behavior when defending its territory.
