Camaroptera chloronota
The Green-backed Camaroptera, scientifically known as Camaroptera chloronota, is a small insect-eating bird found in sub-Saharan Africa. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, and a distinctive white eye-ring. This species is known for its melodious and repetitive song, often heard in dense undergrowth and forest edges. Green-backed Camaropteras are primarily insectivorous, foraging for small insects and spiders in the foliage. They are often found in dense vegetation, including woodlands, thickets, and gardens. This species is not currently considered to be at risk and is classified as of Least Concern by the IUCN.
