Green-backed Honeybird, Prodotiscus zambesiae, is a bird of southern, eastern and south-central Africa in the family Indicatoridae. It was described by Shelley in 1894. It is a brood parasite, placing its eggs in the nests of three white-eye species. It also feeds on insects, and may take the waxy remains shed by scale insects. Its bill is thin and pointed, which helps set it apart from other members of the family.
