Green-throated Sunbird

The Green-throated Sunbird is a small, colorful bird found in the forests and woodlands of East Africa. This species is known for its iridescent green throat and upperparts, contrasting with a bright yellow breast and belly. The male has a more vibrant coloration compared to the female. Green-throated Sunbirds primarily feed on nectar from flowers and also catch insects in flight. They are often observed darting between flowers and perching in the canopy. Their melodious calls are a common sound in their forested habitats.
