Greenish Schiffornis, Schiffornis virescens, is a passerine of the Tityridae family found in south-east and southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and north-east Argentina. It breeds in humid primary forest, mature secondary forest and gallery forest, usually in the lower and middle layers of the woodland. The sexes are alike. Adults show a faint pale eye-ring on a greenish-brown face, with greener-brown upperparts, rufescent wings and tail, and paler underparts. The bill, legs and iris are olive-greyish to dark brown.
