Greenish Tyrannulet, Phyllomyias virescens, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family that breeds in eastern Paraguay, north-eastern Argentina and southern and south-eastern Brazil. It is a bird of humid evergreen forest and secondary forest, using both the interior and the margins, and it has been recorded up to 1,000 m. The sexes are alike. Adults show an olive crown, nape, back and rump, white lores and supercilium, dusky wings with pale yellowish edging, a dusky tail, a whitish throat and yellow underparts with faint olive streaking on the breast and sides.
