Greenish Yellow Finch, Sicalis olivascens, is a bird of the central Andes in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru. It belongs to the tanager family, Thraupidae, and was described by d'Orbigny and Lafresnaye in 1837. Its breeding range is in south-west South America. It occurs in subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland and in badly degraded former forest.
