Grey-and-gold Tanager, Poecilostreptus palmeri, is a bird of the family Thraupidae found in Middle America and South America from Panama to Ecuador. It occurs in Panama, Colombia and Ecuador, including the Serranía del Darién and the western Andean slope in Colombia and Ecuador. Its range is linked to subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. Described by Hellmayr in 1909, it belongs to the passerine order and the tanager family.
