Myiothlypis fraseri (Sclater, PL, 1884)

Grey-and-gold Warbler, Myiothlypis fraseri, is a passerine of the New World warbler family found in Ecuador and Peru. It breeds in South America, where it lives in the understory of deciduous forest and scrubland from lowlands to higher ground. The species is a year-round resident. It is recognised by the two forms within the species, with the northern race showing an ochraceous-orange crown stripe, while the nominate has a lemon-yellow crown stripe edged in black. The sexes look alike, and the bird has a black bill, brown iris, and yellow-brown legs and feet.
