Eremopterix verticalis
The Grey-backed Sparrow-Lark is a small bird found in the dry savannas and grasslands of sub-Saharan Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. It is known for its distinctive grey and white plumage, with black streaks on the back and wings. This species is often seen foraging on the ground for seeds and insects, and its melodious song can be heard during the breeding season. The Grey-backed Sparrow-Lark is well adapted to arid environments and can survive in areas with limited water sources.
