Grey-backed Thrush

Turdus hortulorum

The Grey-backed Thrush is a medium-sized bird found in East Asia. It has a distinctive grey back and head, with a white belly and speckled breast. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in forested areas. It primarily feeds on insects, berries, and small fruits. The Grey-backed Thrush is a migratory bird, breeding in forests and scrublands and wintering in a variety of habitats including gardens and parks. Although not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and degradation are potential threats to its population.
