Grey-bellied Bulbul, Ixodia cyaniventris, is a bulbul from the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It belongs to the family Pycnonotidae and was described by Blyth in 1842. Its breeding range covers the Oriental Region in those areas. It lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. The species was once placed in Pycnonotus, but later moved to Ixodia after molecular studies showed that genus was not a natural group. Two subspecies are recognised, with one on the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra, and the other on Borneo.
