Grey-bellied Shrike-Tyrant Agriornis micropterus is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family that breeds in the Southern Cone of South America. It is mainly associated with steppe and puna grassland with shrubs and boulders, and in the austral winter it also uses agricultural fields. The nominate form is a migrant, while A. m. andecola is generally treated as resident. The species has two subspecies. Its breeding range runs through southern Argentina, with the more northerly form extending through southern Peru, western Bolivia, northern Chile and north-western Argentina.
