Grey-breasted Mountain Toucan, Andigena hypoglauca, is a toucan of the Andean forests of South America, breeding from central Colombia south through Ecuador to Peru. It lives in wet montane woodland, including cloud forest, elfin forest and secondary growth, and is usually found at high elevations, though it also occurs lower in parts of Peru and Ecuador. It is a large-billed mountain toucan with a black cap, face and nape, grey-blue underparts and a tail marked with chestnut tips on the central feathers. Two subspecies are recognised, with differences in rump, flanks and eye colour.
