Grey-crested Helmetshrike, Prionops poliolophus, is a bird of south-west Kenya and west Tanzania in the family Vangidae. It lives in dry savanna and in subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. Its breeding range is in Africa across those parts of Kenya and Tanzania. The species was described by Fischer, GA & Reichenow in 1884. It is known for its grey crest, and its nesting record includes a clutch of one egg.
