Grey-crowned Prinia, Prinia cinereocapilla, is a bird of the Cisticolidae family that breeds in north-west India, Nepal and Bhutan. It was described by Moore, F, 1854. A small prinia with a neat build and a relatively short tail, it has a small, slender bill. In fresh plumage, the forehead is rufous. During the breeding season, the ear-coverts are blue-grey and there is no supercilium. It can be hard to tell apart from other prinias.
