Grey Currawong, Strepera versicolor, is a passerine of southern Australia, including Tasmania, and it also breeds in Kangaroo Island and south-eastern Australia. It belongs to the Artamidae, alongside the butcherbirds and Australian magpie. This bird is known for its crow-like shape and for the variation in its plumage, which runs from slate-grey in some populations to sooty black in others. It has yellow irises, a strong bill, and white markings on the undertail and wings. Its call is a loud ringing or clinking note.
