Grey-headed Bushshrike, Malaconotus blanchoti, is a passerine in the bushshrike family and breeds across Africa. It is the most widespread member of its genus. The bird is found in a variety of wooded habitats, and is usually associated with thicker growth in dry or moist savannah. It occurs only sparsely. Pairs are monogamous and hold woodland where there is enough cover. The species is sedentary, although it makes limited movements after breeding.
