Myiothlypis griseiceps (Sclater, PL & Salvin, 1868)

Grey-headed Warbler, Myiothlypis griseiceps, is a passerine of the New World warbler family that breeds in northern Venezuela. It is confined to South America and is found only in Venezuela. The species was first described in 1868 by Sclater and Salvin. It is a monotypic bird. Its known sites lie in the north-east of the country, where it has been recorded in cloud forest, secondary growth and regenerating forest, from 1,200 to 2,580 m. It is also associated with undisturbed forest and has been noted in mixed-species feeding flocks.
