Grey-hooded Flycatcher, Mionectes rufiventris, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family that breeds in south-east Paraguay, north-east Argentina and south-east Brazil. It was described by Cabanis in 1846. It is a bird of the Atlantic Forest, living in humid woodland and along its margins, in both mature and regenerating forest. The sexes are alike. Adults show a slate-grey head, dark olive upperparts, dusky olive wings and tail, and pale grey to cinnamon-buff underparts.
