Grey Wren, Cantorchilus griseus, is a passerine of the wren family that breeds in western Brazil. It is confined to a small area in south-western Amazonas, along the right bank of the Rio Javarí and in the upper Rio Juruá and Rio Purus region. It lives in dense growth, including tangled clearings and the understorey of várzea forest. The bird is notable for its grey plumage and for being smaller than other members of its genus, with a shorter tail and little in the way of facial patterning.
