Ground Tit, Pseudopodoces humilis, breeds in Tibet on the Tibetan Plateau. It is a passerine in the tit family, Paridae, and was described by Hume in 1871. The bird was once placed with crows and jays because of its unusual form, but later molecular work showed it belongs with the tits. It is the only species in Pseudopodoces. Its range lies north of the Himalayas across the Tibetan Plateau, including China, India, Nepal and Bhutan.
