The Guimaras Bulbul (Hypsipetes guimarasensis) is a medium-sized songbird endemic to the island of Guimaras in the Philippines. It has a distinctive olive-green plumage with a yellow vent and undertail coverts. The species is known for its melodious and varied vocalizations, often heard in the forested areas of its habitat. Guimaras Bulbuls are primarily frugivorous, feeding on a variety of fruits and berries, but also consume insects and small invertebrates. Their habitat is characterized by dense forests and wooded areas, where they can be found foraging and singing from the mid to upper canopy levels. The conservation status of the Guimaras Bulbul is currently listed as Vulnerable due to habitat loss and degradation.
