Halmahera Flowerpecker, Dicaeum schistaceiceps, is a bird of the northern Moluccas, breeding from Morotai to Obi in Australasia. It belongs to the flowerpecker family, Dicaeidae, and was described by Gray, GR, in 1861. It occurs in North Maluku, Indonesia, where it is associated with moist lowland forest and moist montane forest in tropical and subtropical zones. It was once treated as the same species as the Buru flowerpecker.
