Halmahera Golden Bulbul, Hypsipetes chloris, is a passerine in the bulbul family found on Morotai, Halmahera and Bacan Islands in the northern Moluccas. It lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Formerly treated as part of a wider northern golden bulbul grouping, it is now placed in Hypsipetes with 24 other species. The species was described by Finsch in 1867.
