Helmeted Myna, Basilornis galeatus, is a starling of the family Sturnidae found in Indonesia, with its breeding range in the Banggai and Sula islands east of Sulawesi. It is a passerine linked to moist lowland forest, moist montane forest and swamps. Its most notable feature is a prominent crest shaped like a helmet. The bird is black and has white spotting on the face. It was described by Meyer, AB, in 1894.
