Herbert's Leaf Warbler is a small, insectivorous bird found in the eastern Himalayas. It has olive-green upperparts, a pale yellowish underside, and a distinct white supercilium. This species is known for its distinctive song, consisting of high-pitched, rapid trills. It inhabits dense, mossy forests and bamboo thickets, often foraging in the mid to upper canopy. During the breeding season, it can be found at higher elevations, while it descends to lower altitudes in the winter. Herbert's Leaf Warbler is known for its remarkable migratory behavior, undertaking long-distance journeys to wintering grounds in Southeast Asia.
