Hermit Thrush

The Hermit Thrush is a medium-sized North American thrush known for its beautiful, flute-like song. It has a warm brown upper body with a contrasting spotted breast. This bird is often found in dense, moist woodlands and is known for its shy and solitary nature. It forages on the forest floor for insects, berries, and small invertebrates. The Hermit Thrush migrates to Central America during the winter months. Its melodious song is a characteristic sound of the forest during the breeding season.
