Himalayan Black-lored Tit, Machlolophus xanthogenys, is a tit in the family Paridae that breeds in the Himalayas from northern Pakistan to eastern Nepal. It was described by Vigors in 1831. The bird is part of the passerine order and belongs to a group that was once placed in Parus before being moved to Machlolophus. Its name refers to the dark area between the eye and bill. It is a resident breeder in its Himalayan range and is known in Nepali as Pandu Chichilkote.
