Himalayan Buzzard, Buteo refectus, is a bird of prey that breeds in the Himalayas. It occurs in Nepal, India and the neighbouring mountains of southern China. The species was described by Portenko in 1935. It was once known as Buteo burmanicus, but that name had already been used for another buzzard, so Buteo refectus became the accepted scientific name.
