Horsfield's Babbler, Malacocincla sepiaria, is a bird of the Oriental Region, breeding in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java and Borneo. It belongs to the family Pellorneidae, the ground babblers. It is recorded from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Its natural home is in moist lowland forest and moist montane forest in the subtropics and tropics. The common name honours the American naturalist Thomas Horsfield.
