Hutton's Vireo

Hutton's Vireo is a small songbird found in western North America. It has a grayish-olive upper body with a lighter underbelly and a distinctive white eye ring. This species is known for its melodious and repetitive song, often heard in the coniferous and mixed woodlands it inhabits. Hutton's Vireo forages for insects and spiders in the foliage and branches of trees, using its slender bill to capture prey. It builds cup-shaped nests in trees, where it lays its eggs and raises its young. Although not currently threatened, the conservation status of Hutton's Vireo is of least concern according to the IUCN Red List.
