Polioptila attenboroughi Whittaker, Aleixo, Whitney, Smith, BT & Klicka, 2013
Inambari Gnatcatcher, Polioptila attenboroughi, is a passerine bird of the gnatcatcher family that breeds in south-west Amazonian Brazil. It is confined to Brazil and is known from the central Amazon Basin south of the Rio Solimões and west of the Rio Madeira. The species was first described in 2013 and is the only member of its type. It is associated with the canopy of tall, humid upland forest on sandy soils, below 500 m. Its known range lies in the Inambari area of endemism.
