Iringa Akalat, Sheppardia lowei, is a bird of the dry montane forests of south-central Tanzania, where it is confined to the Iringa Region. It belongs to the family Muscicapidae and was described by Grant and Mackworth-Praed in 1941. The bird takes its name from the collector Willoughby Prescott Lowe. Its habitat is montane forest, and it is associated with moist subtropical or tropical conditions. Habitat loss affects the species.
