Iris Lorikeet, Saudareos iris, is a lorikeet of the forests and woodlands of Wetar and Timor in the Lesser Sundas. It breeds in Australasia on those islands, and is found from sea level up to 1,500 m. The male shows a red forehead, a yellow nape, a purple band running back from the eye between the nape and cheek, and yellowish underparts. The female is similar, with a green forecrown marked in red and a yellowish green cheek.
