Isidore's Tern

Isidore's Tern is known for its graceful flight and agile diving to catch fish. It nests in colonies on sandy islands and feeds primarily on small fish and squid. This species is vulnerable to habitat loss and disturbance at its breeding sites, as well as threats from pollution and overfishing in its foraging areas.
