Tockus jacksoni (Ogilvie-Grant, 1891)
Jackson's Hornbill, Tockus jacksoni, is a hornbill of north-west Kenya and north-east Uganda, with its breeding range extending into south Sudan, south-west Ethiopia, north-east Uganda and west Kenya. It belongs to the family Bucerotidae. Its key feature is the dense white spotting on the wing-coverts, which sets it apart from Von der Decken's Hornbill, a bird it closely resembles and has often been treated as part of. Described by Ogilvie-Grant in 1891, it is a member of the order Bucerotiformes.
