Jambandu Indigobird, Vidua raricola, is a passerine in the family Viduidae and breeds across Africa from Guinea to Sudan, South Sudan and north-eastern DR Congo. It is also known as the goldbreast indigobird. Its range includes Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Togo, Cameroon, the Central African Republic and South Sudan. It is associated with savannah and brush. The species was described by Payne in 1982.
