Javan Flowerpecker, Dicaeum sanguinolentum, is a passerine in the flowerpecker family Dicaeidae and breeds in montane Java and Bali in the Oriental Region. It was described by Temminck in 1829. The bird is associated with the Indonesian islands of Java and Bali, and its range is now reflected in its English name. It was once grouped with the Flores, Sumba and Timor flowerpeckers, but those are now treated separately.
