Javan Munia

The Javan Munia, also known as the White-bellied Munia, is a small finch species native to Java, Indonesia. It is characterized by its distinctive white belly and brown upperparts. This species is often found in open grasslands, agricultural areas, and scrublands. Javan Munias are social birds and are often seen in small flocks foraging for seeds and grains. They build their cup-shaped nests in grassy areas and breed throughout the year. The Javan Munia is considered a species of least concern by the IUCN, with stable populations across its range.
