Javan White-eye, Zosterops flavus, is a passerine of the family Zosteropidae that breeds in Java and southern Borneo. It is found in tropical moist lowland forest, mangrove forest and shrubland, and has also been recorded in urban parks in East Java. In West Java it has been noted at Pulau Dua, Muara Gembong and Tanjung Sedari. It is subject to trapping for the wildlife trade, and market surveys in Kalimantan showed it to be traded at high volume and high prices.
