Jerdon's Babbler, Chrysomma altirostre, is a passerine of wetlands and grasslands across Pakistan to Myanmar in the Oriental Region. It was described by Jerdon in 1862 and belongs to the family Paradoxornithidae. It is closely tied to river courses, where it uses dense reedbeds and tall grassland, especially stands of reeds and related plants. The bird is a drab, long-tailed species with a bill that is thicker than that of Sylvia warblers but lighter than in Paradoxornis. Its sexes are alike, and young birds show a more orange upper plumage.
