Juan Fernandez Tit-Tyrant, Anairetes fernandezianus, is a passerine of the Juan Fernández Archipelago in South America, where it is confined to Robinson Crusoe Island. It belongs to the Tyrannidae family and was described by Philippi in 1857. The bird is a tit-tyrant with a black crest, and the sexes look alike, although females are a little smaller and have a smaller crest. It lives in wooded and scrubby places, secondary growth and gardens, from sea level up to 900 m. It stays in the area all year and breeds between August and December.
