Kalkadoon Grasswren, Amytornis ballarae, is a passerine of the Maluridae family found in western Queensland, Australia. It is confined to spinifex-covered hills in the Selwyn Range system, in the north-west of the state. The bird was described by Condon in 1969. It is closely related to the dusky grasswren, but its plumage is more clearly marked, with the wing coverts and flight feathers showing greyer tones and a small rufous area at the base of the outer remiges.
