Karoo Korhaan, Eupodotis vigorsii, is a bustard of southern Africa, found in western South Africa and Namibia. It uses arid karoo scrub and other dry scrubland, and also occurs in denser scrub where there is low cover close to the ground. A small population is present in karoo-like fynbos in the Western Cape. The species has two subspecies, with the nominate form in south-eastern South Africa and E. v. namaqua in north-western South Africa and southern Namibia. It is a small bustard, and the nominate subspecies has grey-brown head, neck and breast, with a black chin and throat edged in white.
