Kessler's Thrush

Kessler's Thrush is a medium-sized bird found in the mountainous regions of Central Asia. It is known for its distinctive song and beautiful plumage. The upperparts are olive-brown with a slight reddish tinge, while the underparts are pale with dark spots. This thrush is often found in dense forests and shrubby areas, where it forages for insects, berries, and small fruits. It is a migratory species, breeding in the high-altitude coniferous forests and wintering in lower elevations. Kessler's Thrush is not currently considered threatened, but its population may be affected by habitat loss and climate change.
